Straight answers, including the uncomfortable ones.
What is FlowTrade?
A trading desk that runs on your Mac. It trades your own account on Hyperliquid, inside limits you set: once an hour it looks at Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Hyperliquid, and when an hour ends past one of its lines it can open one trade, with both exits set before it starts. Every step is written in History. One press pauses it.
Can I lose money?
Yes. FlowTrade trades perpetual futures, and trades can lose. Your limits cap how much a trade is planned to lose and how much a day may lose, but in a fast market an exit can fill at a worse price than it was set, and an exchange can stop or fail. Only use money you can afford to lose. The risks page says the rest in plain words.
Where is my money?
In your own account on Hyperliquid, opened with your FlowTrade wallet, plus a little USDC in that wallet for network fees. The key to the wallet stays in your Mac’s Keychain. FlowTrade, the company, never holds your money and has no server that holds your key.
Can FlowTrade or an AI agent take my money?
Money only moves when you confirm it with Touch ID (or your Mac’s password on a Mac without Touch ID), and only to the one place you saved. No agent can ever take your money out or move it, change your limits, switch live trading on, see your keys or erase your history.
Do I need to know how to trade?
No. FlowTrade speaks plain words: “betting it goes up”, “exit if wrong”, “today’s result”. What you do need is to understand that trading can lose money, and to choose limits you are comfortable with.
Is it AI?
The hourly trader isn’t: it follows one written rule, the same every hour, and Rule Check tests that rule on 90 days of prices. AI assistants are optional. If you add one, it joins FlowTrade’s Chat with your Touch ID and can only do what its level allows.
What does it trade?
Perpetual futures on Hyperliquid, on four markets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Hyperliquid. One trade at a time, betting a price goes up or down.
Does my Mac have to stay on?
The hourly checks run on your Mac, so no new trade starts while it is off or asleep. A trade already open keeps its exits on Hyperliquid, so it can still close at one of them while your Mac is off.
What does FlowTrade cost?
Its price isn’t set yet. You will see it before you decide anything. Trading fees are Hyperliquid’s, and FlowTrade shows every one of them, added up.
Which Mac do I need?
A Mac with macOS 14 or later. Touch ID is used wherever your Mac has it.
When can I use it?
We are opening FlowTrade to people from the waitlist. We don’t give a date we can’t keep: we will email you when it can open to you. Rules on crypto futures differ from place to place, and we will only invite people where FlowTrade can be offered.
Is the demo real?
No. The demo runs in your browser on made-up prices and made-up money, with a demo rule and a scripted agent. It shows how FlowTrade behaves, not what it would earn.
